Lucina Smith Wakefield

1889 - 1972

Lucina Smith Wakefield studied at the Atlanta Art School and the Art Students League. In 1928 she went to Europe and then to Pittsburgh and studied with Donald Dohner, the industrial designer. She designed book jackets for Harper's, Doubleday Doran, Harcout Brace, Dutton and Marchbanks Press.
