Nan Lurie was a WPA artist in the Graphic Arts Division for four years and also worked for the New York Federal Art Project from 1935-1942. She studied at the Art Student's League. Her work has been exhibited at the ACA Gallery, Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Fine Arts.
