Frank Henahan attended Brooklyn College. He worked for the New York Herald and the Brooklyn Eagle. In 1926 he became part owner of Aldus printers until it closed in 1932. He then joined the William Edwin Rudge Publishing Company. He was a member of the Typophiles and the AIGA.
