Witold Gordon

1885 - 1968

Witold Gordon was a polish painter and muralist who studied in Paris at the Ecole de Beaux Arts before moving to New York. He created murals for Radio City Music Hall and was commissioned to create a 6000 sq. foot plural at the 1939 New York World's Fair. In addition to murals, he created illustrations and posters for the 1932 Olympics, illustrated the book Cinderella Married and created covers for The New Yorker magazine.
