S.M. Adler

1898 - 1979

Sam Adler studied at the National Academy of Design. He was also an accomplished violinist and played with several orchestras and chamber music groups. In 1916 he became the staff medical artist at Bellevue Hospital as well as working as a freelance advertising artist. He was Professor of Art at the New York University and the University of Illinois.
