Designing AIfIA

Just a brief note about the AIfIA. In addition to the initiatives I am working on, I designed the logo and the website and led the IA efforts. We often talk about how difficult it is to develop IA for our organizations, do you realize how hard it is to design an IA for a group of IAs? These last several months have been some of the most interesting and rewarding I have had in awhile.

If you are curious as to where the Asilomar comes from check this thread out.

Whoa, you don't waste *any* time! Minutes after I posted on AIfIA, and started my daily blog crawl, I see a link here. I think the RSS feed must help...

Yeah, she is fast. I sent her email at 6:39 EST about your post and am now wondering if she saw it from me first or from reading your site. Wierd.

Excellent work on the IA and design, by the way, Erin. You rock. I still really loved some of your other comps for the site too. :)

Man, I'd think of it as a top-notch professional stress test, Erin. Imagine: if you can please *this* assortment of people, and you maintain those standards, it's hard to imagine any future criticism of your IA work will hold any water.

I'm jealous for the opportunity.
