Designing for Mobile

The introduction to mobile lecture gives students an overview of the mobile landscape. The first section presents a series of best practices and design patterns for designing for a device that someone carries with them all the time, for short attention spans and is limited to a human’s fat fingers. The second part gets into the nitty gritty of dimensions across devices—comparing iOS and Android—and then detailed components and where they differ in terms of interaction and visual design between the two platforms.
