RIT Photo School Faculty Exhibit Poster
Assignment: Design a poster to announce and promote the School of Photography Faculty Exhibition.

Approach: From 1993 through spring 1995, I was the gallery designer for the School of Photography at RIT. The challenge for the Faculty exhibit was that the faculty specialties spanned across traditional media and into the new realm of digital photography. The poster needed to represent all factions of the faculty without specifically using an image from any faculty member.

In addition the budget was such that the poster had to do double duty as a self mailer, therfore it had to fold up and be mailed without excess postage. The poster was sized at 9 3/4 x 12 so that folded once it fell within standard mailing sizes.

The imagery is composited from original photograms and graphs representing light sensitivity of photographic paper. Printing is 3C.
