Assignment: Create a page for the month February for the 1997 Adobe Calender. Imagery must use Adobe products, type and feature the software Adobe Premiere.

Approach: For the month of February, I found a poem called February. I pulled out several of my own photographs shot during the winter back east and in infrared which gives a feeling of cold and ice when cropped. I created a back drop montage of the two main photos with a portion of the poem dropped out the image. I overlaid the entire image with frames pulled from a quicktime movie, using Premier of course. The frames were shot in summer and were used to contrast the sense of winter in the rest of the image.

Outcome: Each designer on the project received a different month, while one designer designed the actual calender block pages. All the images were compiled and the piece was printed and distributed to employees and customers.
